GUEST ROOM RATES

We are pleased to confirm the following preferred rates for the Brazilian Jui Jitsu – US Open XVI:

Rates are net, non-commissionable and are quoted exclusive of transient occupancy tax, currently 10%, or other city, state, or federally imposed taxes or assessments.  Currently there is a 4% CCFD Tax, a $2.00 per night TBID assessment, and a $.60 (sixty-cent) per night CTTC/PBID assessment.  All taxes and assessment charges are subject to change without notice based upon local, state, or federal implementation laws.

RESERVATION CUT-OFF DATE

We request that all reservations be received by September 23, 2011.  After the reservation cut-off date of September 23, 2011 remaining unsold rooms within the Group block will be released back to the Hotel for general sale.  Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis up to the Group block.  If the Group rate is not available after the cut-off date, the prevailing rack rates will apply for any confirmed reservations.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.; check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES

Individual Call In

Room reservations will be made directly with the Hotel by calling (408) 947-4480 or faxing (408) 279-1076 the Hotel Room Reservation Department.  In doing so, please  request the Group rate for “US Open”.

The Group will be identified as “US Open”.  The Hotel can only identify the Group by one name to ensure that the individuals who are making reservations receive the correct Group rate and that the Group gets proper credit for the total rooms picked up. Final guestroom pick-up will be determined by those guestrooms occupied and paid for which have been coded to the Group.

After the cut-off date of September 23, 2011, remaining unsold rooms within the Group block will be released back to the Hotel for general sale.  The Hotel will be glad to extend the cut-off date and/or increase the room block based on availability.

DEPOSITS/CONFIRMATIONS

To confirm your reservation the Hotel requires a first night's deposit, refundable up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival.  Major credit cards are acceptable to guarantee reservations in lieu of deposits.  Reservations cancelled within seventy-two (72) hours of the arrival date will be assessed a no-show charge of one (1) night room and tax at the Group rate in effect for this Event and will be charged against the individual credit card on file for the attendee.  The Hotel requests that you inform your attendees of this obligation.
